This belongs to a Star Trek AU, which is pretty damn great as it is, but this part in particular just made my old-school trekkie and SongXiao loving heart almost burst with happiness.

This is such a perfect little gem, a thing of beauty, giving these two the happy ending they deserve.
This is probably the most tragic ship I’ve ever fallen for – but fallen I have, and hard. Needless to say this vid breaks my heart.

Song Lan after Yi City. There isn’t enough SongXiao out there, and this is simply beautiful in its sadness.
“I’ve been trying not to think about Xiao-xiong and Song-xiong,” Wei WuXian confesses. “I didn’t know them that well either, but I really liked meeting them. I guess I had known what their deal was before, but to actually meet them was like, Here, idiot, here’s two cultivators doing exactly what you want to do! This is simply perfect – not only incorporating my beloved Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan, but creating an absolutely wonderful Lan Zhan POV post-Yi City. He’s so very sad (depressed, which I can relate to), and so very in love, and Wei Ying is so very slow on the uptake (as always), seeing them find each other feels like a gift.
“Xue Yang must die”, Wei WuXian said, not even appearing in this fic. Everyone agreed.
This one’s very cathartic, killing of the most awful villain of the piece not just once, but SIX times, with a lovely dose of my two favourite Daozheng.
