Great first time fic, set right after the end of season 1.

Steve tilts his head up and narrows his eyes and thinks for a second. Then he leans in.
“Would it be so bad to be married to me?” He whispers with a grin and then he is gone, inside the house and Alfonso stands on the threshold and tries to catch his breath.
Teen, post-season 1. The one where Alfonso actually gets what he wants. This is lovely, from start to finish!
All Steve knows for sure is that some of the frustration and anger that keeps building inside him leaves him whenever he pushes into French, and it takes a long time for those feelings to return. It feels good.
Mature, post-canon. I’ve not yet finished season 1 of this show, and while normally I’m all about friends-to-lovers, I’m finding myself intrigued by Steve and French’s relationship. This is hot and sweet, and I want more. 🙂
