“Been home long?” Home slipped off his tongue. Brian wondered if it was like that for Dom and Mia, if what they had here meant as much to them as it had come to mean to him. It had been a long time since he’d had somewhere he’d cared enough to want to come back to. With Brian it had always been people, rather than places. One person in particular.

This fic is just perfect, all I like in a F&F fic.
Everyone else in the world might have believed Soulmarks were an amazing thing, that the one person their Mark matched was meant to be their great love. Brian didn’t, he knew better – Soulmarks were just a way to trap and ruin someone and he wasn’t going to let it happen to him.
Meeting his Mark, Dominic Toretto, wasn’t going to change anything about that. He wouldn’t let it. It didn’t matter if Toretto tried to do to win him over, Brian wasn’t going to fall for it.
Really, he wasn’t.

Soulmate AUs aren’t special faves of mine, but this one had me on the edge of my seat!
“I’m yours, you know that.” Dom didn’t make it a question.
Brian quirked his head and made a sardonic face, so Dom tightened his grip on Brian’s wrist and waist. “I’m not playing. Something I have, something I can get. Anything you want, it’s yours.”
“What makes you think I want anything?” Brian said softly, but there was an odd light in his eyes like something in his head had shifted.

Some things are just inevitable.
Maybe it’d be easier if there wasn’t—this between them, atmosphere always thick, respect and animosity alike lingering. Dom was supposed to have just been another mark for Brian, but they’re under each other’s skin now.

All the times Brian and Dom could have crossed that line… I’ve only seen the first F&F movie, but the homoeroticism is undeniable. *g*
[…]it was like Brian had stepped into another country entirely. One where all of Brian’s carefully constructed defenses didn’t count. Where it didn’t matter how much he loved Mia, how much he wanted her, and didn’t want to fuck things up, some part of him wanted with a hunger he’d never be able to slake.
Mature, polyamory, not Furious 7-compliant. Figuring out how to deal with the fact that Brian basically has “Toretto” stamped on his ass – for both Mia AND Dom. Adore this, it’s full of family and love.
