Seriously, I never even thought of Poe and Luke knowing each other, but now all I can think of is little Poe falling in love with Luke and how that ends up shaping him. A simply wonderful Poe characterization, with a lot of interesting insights into Luke and the others as well!

“You called Jace your brother,” Izzy says softly as she sits down on the edge of her brother’s bed and crosses her legs.
Alec, who’s lying fully dressed on the covers with his right arm thrown over his eyes, doesn’t look at her. “So?”
“You have never done that before,” she observes. “You’ve always called him your best friend or your parabatai but never your brother.”
This my shipper heart can totally live with… And I love Izzy so much.

When Steve was tired, especially, when his accent thickened and his posture slumped a little. Then it wasn’t Peggy he looked for. It was James.

His chest hurts. His heart beats faster, he has trouble breathing. Everything Magnus described and then some, except Alec has been feeling this all of his god damned life and it’s so familiar he could scream. This isn’t about desire; it never has been. Alec has loved Jace for so long that he hardly knows who he is without this love, and it’s starting to look like he never will.
“I don’t want you to get hurt,” he says finally, and Jace smiles. It’s a small, crooked thing, and it hurts Alec to see it.
Adult, post-season 1. This is intense and proof that it’s entirely possible to ship a pairing without having seen the entire (or even most) of the canon… What can I say, I’m a sucker for this parabatai thing and Alec Lightwood’s soulful eyes. 🙂
This is surprisingly perfect. It shouldn’t fit, but it totally does.
“You’re the slayer,” he realized. “Betty…Bunny…Cordy’s friend. Aren’t you in Sunnydale?”
“Buffy,” she corrected. “And yeah, I would be, but Cordelia called me the other day to tell me that her boss Angel, the famed vampire with a soul, has completely lost his mind.” She kicked high, nicking him in the chin and sending him tumbling to the ground, flat on his back.
PG, AU. What if Buffy and Angel had only met after they’d both done some growing up? This, absolutely. I love that it avoids the usual pitfalls of this pairing while still ringing completely true for both characters.
