It’s been like six months and he still doesn’t know her name. She comes in almost every week day, with the exception of the odd morning here and there, and at this point, it would be awkward for him to say, hey, what’s your name, by the way? especially because she remembers his even when he’s not wearing the nametag.

It’s probably for the best that he doesn’t get to know her any better since he definitely doesn’t have a chance. Most of the time, she’s here alone, but in recent weeks she’s occasionally joined by a friend – a girlfriend he’s pretty sure – who is just as gorgeous as she is.

Adult, modern bakery AU. Every fandom needs a bakery!AU, and this two-parter’s lovely. It also deals with Nikhil’s issues surrounding self-image and sex, and I especially enjoy that we get to also see Sestia’s POV.

She takes a breath, forcing the words out. “You brought us home. I sort of thought we were going to…that you wanted…”

She stops, because Nikhil’s head shoots up to look at her, recoiling. He looks absolutely horrified, and Sestia isn’t sure what kind of misstep she’s made – the same Murdina probably did when she brought up his horns being sensitive – so she speeds up, trying to backtrack, “I just mean, you said you don’t bring people back here, but you brought us, so I thought-“

“It’s not like that!” Nikhil cuts in. He’s gripping his tail so hard his fingernails are carving crescents into it. He shakes his head fiercely. “I wouldn’t- You guys needed a place to stay, and I- that’s why I said I’d sleep on the couch, but then I thought that might be too much, so I just stayed out here-“

Adult, post-canon. Sestia and Murdina realise that adding Nikhil to their relationship is rather more complicated than one might think when looking at him… This is excellent, I really enjoy how they treat Nikhil’s issues – and the sex is sizzling hot.
