Steve scrambles to look less unhinged. “Whoops,” he responds, shifting so he’s propped up against his headboard, blanket tangled around his knees.  “Thought your ugly mug was the joke. Got distracted.”

There are a lot of possible answers to Steve’s attempt at gentle ribbing, but the last one that he’d ever expect is the one Bucky actually gives.

“Not too ugly to get you going,” he says, eyebrow raised.

Mature, post-WS. Bucky starts fondling household appliances. Steve, with the help of Sam and Natasha, starts to wonder whether he might want to fondle something else.

All of a sudden, the last couple of months started to make a lot more sense. The immediate connection and rapport he’d felt from day one, the easy physicality between them, the ever-present awareness of Steve’s body, that goofy feeling he got whenever Steve smiled at him…

Holy. Shit.

Adult, AU. Tattoo artist Bucky discovers he might not be as straight as he always thought. This one’s just warm fuzzies and pure happiness.

“I had it under control.” Audrey doesn’t need a man to save her. 

“I know you did. I just don’t like bullies.” He gives her a shy smile, and suddenly she likes him a whole lot more than she did. A guy who looks like him could easily have been a bully.

One of the USO girls realizes there’s more to Captain America than meets the eye… I love outside POVs, and this one is just lovely.

Steve of the present — who was all muscle, now, muscle and the same perfect bow of his lips —  made a soft sound in his sleep, almost a sigh, and Bucky watched him through half-lidded eyes.  He watched him, and eventually he slid down the bed until he was lying down, and when sleep came to take him, it was with Steve’s name in his mouth.  Curled under his tongue, where it tasted both familiar and inevitable.
