Steve has criteria for losing his virginity. Bucky knows somebody who meets them.
This comic owns my heart. Seriously, it’s sweet and funny and sexy as hell.

Summary: A tale of many cities and churches and two boys. Happy 100th Birthday, Bucky Barnes: March 10, 2017.
“I do; I love you,” Steve said, throat tight.
Bucky looked like he couldn’t believe Steve really said it out loud. “I—believe it,” he scraped out, and kissed Steve in the old way, ripe and urgent. Steve closed his eyes and let himself revel in it. Then Bucky moved his mouth to Steve’s ear and whispered, “But if you do, you have to let me go. Draw them away from me, buy me some time,” and Christ, he had to fight the urge to argue, to beg and plead: No, don’t go—I haven’t got anything else; nothing; not a single goddamned thing—but he couldn’t put all that on Bucky, not when he had only just gotten free.
Canon divergence after CA: WS. Steve finds Bucky, but that doesn’t mean everything’s HEA… This is incredible – seriously, I started and couldn’t stop, because this is everything.
Barnes comes to with a hard-on in his pants and a rock in his chest. Steve’s not home. Barnes listens to the song six more times, just to be sure that the memory’s not a fake, or a fluid chimaera made up of his own desires. But the picture is so damned solid, so unwavering, his hard-on so persistent, that he has to take it at face value.
The first time they’d… They’d. Barnes’d never even known that they’d they’d until Billie Holliday started crooning at him.
Mature, post-canon. Steve makes Bucky a playlist to jog his memory. It works. This is what a songfic should be.
Today’s mail call includes an art print of “Lost Photo no 1,” one of my all-time favorite pieces of Stucky fanart. This is by @Insanaty, aka @beardysteve, who routinely creates art that touches my soul. I bought multiple versions of this – greeting cards, metallic photo print, and this beauty. ‘I believe in you, Sergeant Barnes,’ Erskine promised. ‘But I almost did not win your selection. I had someone else in mind, so the Colonel had him removed.’
Teen, AU. A small change makes Bucky into Captain America and Steve into the Winter Soldier. Can’t wait for more, this is so compelling!
ETA: Sadly the fic has been deleted.

“You’re coming back,” she interrupts him. She throws off his hand, and her jaw is as determined as Bucky’s in a fight. And maybe that’s why he loves them both, that tremendous fierceness they both have.
“But if I don’t,” he insists. “Because we both know it could happen. If I don’t come back, look after Bucky for me.”
Mature, AU series. Steve rescues Bucky but is lost himself. This is awesome – I love Peggy and Bucky’s friendship through the years, and the Soldier’s story just about ripped my heart out. I’m hoping there’ll be a fourth part soon! 🙂
How They Make You a Weapon, by monicawoe and luckyraeve
This comic is a chilling look at Bucky’s time as the Winter Soldier.
A Mother Always Knows,by readergirl1013
Steve lets out a weak cough and Bucky tucks himself more tightly around his friend, one arm lying protectively over him. Winifred flinches as Bucky whispers, “I love you,” again.
Her son doesn’t sound like he’s speaking to a best friend or even a brother. He sounds like a husband speaking to his wife. But Sarah’s face shows no recognition of such a thing; nor does Father Donovan’s, who says, “They’re just like young David and Jonathan.”
Teen, POV Bucky’s mom. This rings so very true for the times they grew up in, and I love how we get to piece together Bucky and Steve’s love story through the worried eyes of Winifred Barnes. Also manages to paint an interesting picture of the rest of Bucky’s family.
The Sun & The Star, by greenbergsays
This is the way things are done, the way they have always been done. There is dark and cold and emptiness and then there is the voice of his beloved – zvezdochka – calling to him. He opens his eyes to the only face worth remembering, to gentle hands on his bare body trying to drive away the cold.
This is the way things are done.
Teen, AU. Short and darkly evocative, this paints a very different picture of Steve and Bucky.
