I’m really enjoying the new Interview with the Vampire show, no matter how AU it is from book!canon – and I’m especially not mad about the fact that Louis and Lestat are sexually active. 😉
This fic fits into show!canon perfectly, balancing the attraction, angst and twisted love between those two.
Did I just rec a vid for the same pairing with the same title? Yes, yes I did. But this one’s just incredible in a completely different way, focusing on the parallels between two beings connected by their shared trauma as much as their history.
So I thought I’d made it through the show without picking up a ship for a change – and then they dropped the surprise episode 11, and in the second half we met Calliope… As this vid shows so beautifully, their relationship is full of history and emotion, and I can only pray for more!
Tom Sturridge is the perfect Morpheus, and without him the show wouldn’t work. This vid is too stunning for words.

Dom can think of a lot of things to say to that, but it isn’t the time for macho bullshit, so he just says, “Yeah.”
There’s a moment, then, where he’s just looking silently back at Brian, and it’s heavy like the thud when hit the Charger’s roof, like the weight of Brian’s hand in his. Dom lets it stretch out, and then says, “What the hell are you doing to the accelerator? Thought your foot was lighter these days.”

Chuck gave him a disbelieving look. Raleigh got the feeling once again that he was missing something, but he still couldn’t figure out what it was.
“You serious?” Chuck scratched at his chin, the motion drawing Raleigh’s attention back to his mouth. “Have you always been this slow on the uptick when you’re being pulled?”
Before the last mission, Raleigh and Chuck come to a truce – and then some. 😉
