Aww, this is happy-making!

Steve tilts his head up and narrows his eyes and thinks for a second. Then he leans in.
“Would it be so bad to be married to me?” He whispers with a grin and then he is gone, inside the house and Alfonso stands on the threshold and tries to catch his breath.
Teen, post-season 1. The one where Alfonso actually gets what he wants. This is lovely, from start to finish!
I Don’t Care, by antichrist
All Steve knows for sure is that some of the frustration and anger that keeps building inside him leaves him whenever he pushes into French, and it takes a long time for those feelings to return. It feels good.
Mature, post-canon. I’ve not yet finished season 1 of this show, and while normally I’m all about friends-to-lovers, I’m finding myself intrigued by Steve and French’s relationship. This is hot and sweet, and I want more. 🙂
aberrant, by Chainsawlicker
The concept of living without Murphy, of not sleeping with him so close he can hear his breathing, is inconceivable.
Adult, incest, pre-canon. This is how I like my twincest – deliciously codependent… 🙂

Still Life With Flowers – Anonymous – Agatha Christie’s Poirot (TV) [Archive of Our Own]
Japp has a funny little idée fixe about Poirot and Hastings. He is, of course, completely mistaken.
Teen, tv verse. This is simply lovely – from start to finish a perfect little gem, absolutely in character.
What Tomorrow Brings, by IAmAllYetNotAtAll
What Tomorrow Brings, by IAmAllYetNotAtAll
Magnus finds young Alec and Isabelle living on the streets of New York in a time of chaos among the Downworlders and takes them in. He doesn’t know their last name, how they ended up on the streets, or why they seem to have so many secrets, but they have the Sight and he can’t bear to leave them on their own.
As they grow older and discover the atrocities happening in the Shadoworld, Alec takes on the mantle his mother had left behind to protect his family. And Jace? He’s a whirlwind of flirting and secrets that crashes into their lives and refuses to leave. Together they may bring about the change the Shadoworld needs.
Teen, canon-divergence. This is simply wonderful – an epic-length story that’s about family and Shadow world politics as much as about two boys falling in love.
Desperate Games, by aldiara
In a life that requires deception to survive, Pietros is ever bent on truth, and Barca fears every day it might mark their undoing.
Adult. A perfectly crafted stolen moment of happiness in a life filled with danger – this would be wonderful fluffy smut if we didn’t know how it ended…

Not A Kind Man, by Pegasus_Eridana
Barca does not speak gently to him, barely even acknowledges his presence, but often he sees the boy following him as if a shadow. And if Barca makes it known that none of the men are to touch Pietros in any way, that is not kindness. It is merely that the boy clearly believes himself to be under Barca’s protection, and it costs Barca nothing to grant it.
But Barca is not a kind man.
Adult, canon divergence, fix-it. This pairing deserved better, and this fic delivered.
The one where Jonas has been pining for months and there’s a party, by colazitron
The one where Jonas has been pining for months and there’s a party, by colazitron
But while the late summer light turns Eva’s hair to molten copper, to fire, makes her so bright Jonas sees more than just some heads turn, he can’t help but glance over at Isak. At the straw blond of his hair that suddenly looks like it’s been spun to gold. The encouraging smile he’s starting to give other people – other boys. Jonas isn’t an idiot, and Isak is braver than he’ll ever be.
Teen, canon-divergence. During series 1 and 2 of Skam, this was my ship – and this fic is just lovely.

Strangers to the Fire, by gwyneth rhys (gwyneth)
This is what his hands have tried to grasp since he knew what desire was, the prayer his burning mouth has longed to say.
Adult, canon-divergence. This fixes my biggest gripe with Kings, namely that they didn’t keep the David/Jonathan relationship from the Bible (one of my very favourites).
