Howie extended his hand, looking like he might touch them, and pulled it back. “Wow.”

How Dom’s casual possessiveness lights him up like a flare of NOS, makes his skin feel too tight and his insides too hot, much like they did when Mia told him that Dom owned him. Back then, Brian had smiled and shrugged it off, but he’d felt it, a gravitational pull towards Dom he couldn’t resist.

Vu Linh holds his cheek in his hand, elbow propped on his knee, and turns to face Vuong Ma. If he had to guess, Vu Linh wouldn’t assume Vuong Ma to be much older than Hac Thien, or even himself. He is young, with smooth and refined features where Hac Thien’s are sharp and angular, and even in the grey of the night, his eyes trap the light in molten amber. Deceptively unobtrusive.

I adore this short film, but I’m definitely not a fan of Hac Thien and I can’t help but want Denis’ and NTTQ’s characters together, so this just made me incredibly happy. 🙂

Bucky freezes. He had meant the comment as a joke, at least mostly, and he had been convinced that Steve would interpret it as such, like he always does. Instead, when Bucky looks up to meet with Steve’s gaze, Steve is staring at him with eyes wide in shock, and Bucky feels his throat run dry.
