“Uh huh,” she’d said again, blinking down at him with desire-clouded eyes.
He’d swallowed and leaned his forehead against hers. “Want to keep going?” He’d whispered. He had stayed still and quiet, knowing she needed space to consider his invitation. He’d watched as her face flicked through an almost astonishing number of emotions: curiousity, uncertainty, anxiety, excitement and then – and Duncan had sucked in a breath as he saw it settle on her face – desire.
