But, try as he might, Bucky couldn’t sleep. He could only think of the previous dream, and of the pain he’d likely have felt while standing up at the altar with Steve as he married Peggy. He wished Steve hadn’t found the thought of their respective marriages so endearing.

After a moment, though, Steve closed the book again. He rested it on his lap and said. “But I don’t think that would have been it.”

Adult, post-WS. Love this peek at what might have been if Bucky hadn’t fallen and Steve hadn’t crashed – and since it’s a dream, there’s no icky cheating issue. The stand-alone companion piece about Paris is awesome, too.

Jack complicated things further by turning up fifteen minutes later and demanding an explanation at gunpoint. It was only too clear that Jack had no idea who Ianto was, and Ianto found himself ordered down to the SUV and taken to the Hub practically under arrest. Jack wasn’t impressed when Ianto offered to drive and produced a set of working keys to the SUV.

Teen, post-Cyberwoman AU. In my headcanon, Jack and Ianto didn’t hook up until after Lisa, but I really enjoyed this take on Ianto trying to come to terms with himself and his relationship with Jack, with the help of an unexpected trip to a parallel universe.

Bucky was all loose-limbed and languid, laughing as he flipped a square of chocolate into his mouth with a small flick of his tongue. “How else am I supposed to grow big and strong like you?”

Steve felt himself flush. He concentrated on hanging his jacket on its peg and fought the way Bucky’s laughter tugged at him as it changed from something light to a low, dark chuckle.

Adult, comic!verse. Bucky is underage, Steve isn’t much older, but still feels guilty (of course). Reading Brubaker’s Captain America, I must admit, something like this did cross my mind… 🙂 Love this take on comic!Bucky in the War!

Jake turns before he can think about what he’s doing, grabbing Mickey’s face between his hands and planting a kiss on his mouth.

G, on Pete’s World. Because that deleted scene breaks my heart, and this makes much more sense to me than Mickey and Martha randomly being paired up.

“Yeah, ‘course.” Steve reaches up and tucks a strand of hair behind his ear, careful and slow. “If that’s what you want. Is it?“ 

 Bucky nods, eyes wide. "Yes.”

Adult, post-WS, D/s. Ngh, this left me speechless because it’s so gentle. Often in D/s fics there’s humiliation (which I don’t like), but there’s none of this here, and it’s perfect!

Adult, post-Winter Soldier. Bucky finally gets a new arm – but the anaesthetic has some… interesting effects on him. 🙂 This could be just sex pollen fic, but instead it’s full of Bucky feels (while still being sexy and funny and sweet).

Adult, AU. This is, of all things, Winter Soldier!Bucky/pre-serum Steve pr0n. And it’s amazing. Incredible WS!Bucky POV, utterly heart-breaking, while being simultaneously really, really sexy and touching. There’s an explanation as to how it came about in the follow-up/mirror pre-War!Bucky/post-WS!Steve fic, but honestly, for me this works perfectly as is.
