If there ever was a ship this song fits, it’s this one.
Xi Gu spent a lot of his time working and studying and never had much of a social life, but he knew what those were near instantly anyway. Condoms. Zhi Gang had three boxes of condoms stored under his register, right next to the materials he gave to customers.
This is funny and sweet and hot all at once – the perfect combination!
“I can’t believe Mo Xuanyu did this to me,” grumbled Wei Wuxian, shaking his head. “How am I supposed to live as an omega!?”
All to often A/B/O fics don’t work for me, due to the power imbalances, but this… This is hot as well while also being sweet as sin. The perfect combination.
Perfectly (and sizzlingly) encapsulates the chemistry between my two favourite boys.
Wei Wuxian crosses the room in two strides and brushes his mouth against Lan Wangji’s, who goes still, but permits the kiss.
For Wei Wuxian, pleasure has always been something to be chased, his body something to be indulged. Even when you’ve unexpectedly been resurrected, you never know when a particularly tenacious fierce corpse is going to show up and rend you limb from limb – may as well bask in everything that feels good while you can.
Lan Wangji, on the other hand: sometimes Wei Wuxian kisses him and he’s warm and willing and pliant. On other days it’s liked the memory of the inscribed wall of laws in the Cloud Recesses – and the Gusu Lan sect has an immensity of stupid taboos about what you’re not supposed to do, and with whom – falls over him like a shroud, and he responds to Wei Wuxian’s flirtations with a stony stillness that hurts his heart. And so far he can never tell which Lan Wangji he’s going to get.
This is such an unusual but absolutely believable and interesting take on how Lan Wangji might react to being with Wei Ying.
Some days all Wei WuXian wanted was to hold Lan WangJi in his mouth. There was no reason for it, nothing caused it, he would just wake up and eat his breakfast and look at the man and think: Today, all I want is to hold him in my mouth.

So soft for a kinky fic – I love it!
As distraction, Wei Wuxian admires the way the faint lamplight gilds the long lines of Lan Wangji’s fingers around a teacup. The soft light seems to infuse his pale skin—his strength and grace have their own inherent glow—oh, damn, this is not a safe sort of distraction at all.
Two words: erotic cultivation. *fans self*
The majestic and totally terrifying-in-a-sexy way Black Cloak Envoy took one look at Zhao Yunlan, frowned, turned to Zhao Xinci and said “No.” Then he walked out in a sparkling, billowing cloud of dark energy.
Zhao Yunlan blinked. “Did he…did he…was I just dumped ?”
His father, in a very satisfying change of pace, looked as confused as Zhao Yunlan felt. Still, he shook his head. “You cannot be ‘dumped’, you are the Guardian. The treaty is very clear about this.”
He had been promised that it was a ceremonial role only. His father explained that once the very bureaucratic and not-at-all-ever-consummated wedding was complete, the Guardian was not required to do anything more as the Black Cloak Envoy’s consort than show up a couple of times a year for Dixing religious events.

This is such a unique and fascinating take on the arranged marriage trope (with a good dose of identity porn on top), and I loved every moment of it!
The younger Lan brother is something of an enigma on campus; while Lan Xichen can sometimes be seen in the company of other graduate students or conducting a seminar, Lan Wangji appears to spend all his time in class or in the library. He doesn’t drink. He doesn’t smoke. He doesn’t attend social events. He doesn’t do anything for fun, as far as Wei Wuxian can tell, and it’s driving Wei Wuxian just a little bit up the wall.
For some reason college AUs are my catnip for this ship, and this one is simply excellent.
“Wei Ying.” No response. Not even the twitch of an eyelid. Just the same dull, vacant stare he’s been wearing since Lan Wangji pulled him away from the carnage at the Nightless City.
This hurts. I always wondered how this scene from the novel might have gone and have now accepted this as canon.
