What is wrong with me? I don’t go for the sad boy villain, yet somehow this ship? It intrigues me… and this fic is both hot and manages to encapsulates what’s so captivating about a love that’s 7000 years old.

Lee’s briefing them, yet again. Cylons are still coming and they’re still here, that’s the gist. She’s not dead yet and neither is he. Somehow, by the grace of some gods, Lee Adama of all frakking men is alive with her, here, at the end of the world. He is alive and breathing and so close she could touch him if she wanted, but she doesn’t.

An oldie but an absolute classic, I love this fic set during the first episode.

The concept of Lan sharing in Moiraine’s period cramps is gold, and the way this is written was entirely great. It could easily have become crack, instead it’s believable and I want more! 🙂

Moiraine opens her eyes and offers Lan a nod. He has also towelled off, and he hangs the cloth near enough to the small fire to dry but not so close that it might catch a spark. He is still naked, aside from the thin leather strips keeping his hair bound, the occasional stray bead of water catching the firelight and throwing back red-gold gleam. He is art, a statue cast in copper and bronze. Then he looks at her and becomes a man again.

Is anyone surprised that this is the ship I’m drawn to? They’re literally bonded to each other, they’re ride or die, all of which this vid shows it beautifully. (And yes, I know they’re not romantic on the show, but when has that ever stopped me? *g*)
