Angels Would Fall, by lls_mutant – Battlestar Galactica (2003) [Archive of Our Own] | https://archiveofourown.org/
Kara interrupts him with a sharp laugh and a rolled up jacket tossed lightly at his face. “Do you realize that’s the third time you’ve quoted Lee in the past hour?” she asks. “When did the two of you become such frakking best buddies?”
Frakking best buddies. Sam stops still, because he never thought of it that way. But before he can analyze it, Kara sees the truth and says, “So what, did you two have some sort of mutual comfort society going while I was gone?”
He’s never been the type to hide his feelings from Kara- hell, he’s never thought he should hide his feelings from Kara. And so he stands there, everything written across his face.
I must admit, I’ve got kind of a thing for Sam/Lee during Kara’s “death”…
Prologue – Chapter 1, by embolalia – Battlestar Galactica (2003) [Archive of Our Own] | https://archiveofourown.org/
“Don’t worry.” Zak leans up to kiss Kara’s cheek, then stands. “He’ll love you, too.” He heads toward the door. “Come on or we’ll be late.”
In spite of his warning, Kara slips down into his seat and stares into space for a minute. Her mind is blank except for that one word: too.
As much as I dislike cheating in real life, the chemistry between Kara and Lee right from the start can’t be denied, and this fic shows a plausible (and still mostly canon-compliant) way it might have gone.

And motion from the taller man, a twisting jerk away, turning his back to Lee, Zak’s confused stutter, standing and turning a shoulder toward the taller man, reaching a hand out to him, seeing Lee, his “Oh Gods, shit, frak!” The red rising to his cheeks, hand slipping off his cock and then more quickly back as a shield.
Lee choking out “What the hell, Zak?” at the same moment he hears “Leland Adama, if you left my door open…” in a affectionate murmur twenty feet behind him.
I simply love canon-divergent fics that explore Lee and Kara on Caprica, especially when they include her relationship with Zak. In this one they break up, and Lee is there to pick up the pieces. *happy sigh*

OMG, how is this even real?! An MCU version of Stardust that shouldn’t work but totally does.

Oh, how I loved these two – in many ways, Nine will always and forever be my Doctor.

It takes Kara a full, careful year to cut Lee Adama out of her life, and less than a minute to let him back in.

Canon-divergent vaguely after season 2, this is a perfect little thing – because while Apollo and Starbuck always worked, Lee and Kare were a different story…
Reunion, The Beta Version Prologue to Chapter 1, a battlestar galactica: 2003 fanfic | FanFiction | https://www.fanfiction.net/
The Fleet takes back New Caprica, but the war is still in full force. As Lee and Kara make amends, they find a chance to redirect the future if they can only reconcile the past.
Kara and Lee get an unexpected do-over. This is brilliant.
Same As It Ever Was, by Kate Andrews (k8andrewz), k8andrewz – Westworld (TV) [Archive of Our Own] | https://archiveofourown.org/
A hand on his shoulder, a woman behind him, curves pressed to his back. Her warm voice in his ear, breath tickling the hairs on the back of his neck. “It’s gonna be all right, Teddy. I understand now. This world doesn’t belong to them. Belongs to us.”
Then, he opened his eyes and saw *her* in that cornflower blue dress, moving with a determined stride toward the white-haired man, pistol big and powerful in her delicate hand. He wasn’t sure who she was, only that she was so, so alive. A bright, delicate flutter of hope beat itself against the inside of his ribcage, but it dissolved before he could grab hold of the thing. He saw her, and something else ******** slid into place. *He* snapped into place. Like a ********* finding its *****. These words didn’t seem like anything to him.
And yet.
Post-season 1 finale, Teddy tries to make sense of the world. But the only thing that makes sense is Dolores. Who, as it turns out, was not always on the farm loop…
Equation Heaven Sent, by Inkfire – Doctor Who (2005) [Archive of Our Own] | https://archiveofourown.org/
River senses his hesitation and moves away. Unconsciously, he finds his fingers tightening, holding her head close to his. Her eyes grip his and there is a glow to them he cannot believe appeared in the last few minutes. Perhaps he is only now perceiving it. Something in her shines. Something opened.
He wants it, more of it, but he is afraid to ask, afraid to stand too close, unveil too much of himself.
He feels like his whole perception is shifting, being rewritten. He feels her, acutely—sees so much of her, in her, senses the warmth of her body, the hint of her perfume, the shift of her curls stirring the air. That hot, buzzing air between them. He just found out that her skin feels ever so soft.
This is it, the first time fic of my heart for River and the Doctor. Or rather, for the Doctor – this is an utterly captivating peek into his mind, his heart.
