Teen, canon divergence from 3×03. Stefan goes back to his apartment without Klaus. A short but intriguing what-if.
As a human she’d known all this. It’s what had given her the strength to hold onto him no matter what. Stefan was hers completely and she was his. As a vampire it is intoxicating in ways she’s never thought possible.

Adult. So yes, I’ve fallen into another rabbit hole about a ship from a show I never watched and don’t plan to (blame the Youtube algorithm). But c’mon, Stefan and Elena were great together! Sadly a lot of the fanfic is not the best, but this one’s yummy and full of tension.
